Matata FC is a University Student football club, based at the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC). It started as group of East Africans at UNMC in 2009. The club became Matata FC in 2010, when former player and current owner XXXX took over as a Manager and Financer. XXXX has been one of the successful coaches in terms of trophies on Campus. Matata FC now has formed two teams one for males and the other females. Currently, Matata FC is one of the most supported and most valuable clubs in Nottingham. It is one of Nottingham’s and East Africa’s most successful football club, and most well known club in the entire UNMC.
